1. Công thức theo thì

2. Quy tắc chọn nhanh
- Sau chỗ trống có tân ngữ (danh từ) → chủ động.
- Sau chỗ trống không có tân ngữ, có by … hoặc giới từ → thường bị động.
- Nội động từ không có bị động: arrive, happen, occur, rise, remain, expire, appear, exist, function, proceed, emerge.
- Động từ 2 tân ngữ vẫn có bị động kèm tân ngữ: Mr. Ortiz was given a promotion.
